Out of more than 450 participants, a winner of the 2017 grand prize draw was selected.

After four rounds of intense trivia and energetic library education, we have our grand prize winner for 2017: Jason Faulkner, Manager, Patient Access and Community Transitions, at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Jason participated in the first three Library Games rounds and won a $50 Chapters gift card for his library knowledge.

This second edition of Library Games saw an increase of 420 per cent in respondents from the first Library Games in 2015. Librarians and library technicians spread the word across all Fraser Health sites, answering questions on topics including the UpToDate database, finding evidence, key textbooks and keeping current.

After online tutorials, demonstrations and education presentations, a total of 458 employees took part throughout the four rounds of Library Games.

Thank you to all who participated. If you want more information about the topics covered, or have questions, contact Fraser Health Library Services, library@fraserhealth.ca
