Innovation means generating, sharing and implementing new ideas to improve performance and patient, client and resident-centred care. The Executive team has committed to funding innovation grants for our communities.

Purpose and scope

The innovation grants are intended to support clinicians to impact and improve the patient, client and resident experience in our care. A grant that aligns with Fraser Health’s strategic priorities of quality, building capacity, staff and physicians and fiscal responsibility, and that successfully improves a patient/client/resident experience, will be considered for implementation throughout Fraser Health.

Grant awards

There are monetary grants available to each community for projects for the 2017/18 fiscal year in a total sum of $20,000. Team projects can be funded up to a maximum of $4,000.

Application criteria

  • Have measurable outcomes
  • Propose a budget and timeline including interim milestones
  • List team members and their department/area of work
  • Be endorsed by the executive director responsible for the work area
