Fraser Health is establishing a People and Culture Advisory Council to improve the culture of care in our organization.

If you have a passion for ensuring remarkable clinician and patient experiences, we invite you to consider joining the advisory council.

This council will consist of 24 front line health care providers, union partners, leaders, medical staff and a patient advisor. Together these individuals will provide advice and insights on issues and initiatives that affect individual care providers, care teams, and our patients and families.

The advisory council will be involved in exciting initiatives such as:

  • Creating a psychologically healthy and safe workplace to promote provider well-being.
  • Living our values for patient and family-centred care.
  • Supporting culture work across all of our acute, community, primary care and residential care areas.

The council will meet five to six times per year and will report to the People and Culture Steering Committee. The steering committee will provide regular updates to the Fraser Health Board.

As co-chairs of the People and Culture Advisory Council, Jacqueline Per, executive director, patient experience and chief nursing officer, and Thomas Clyne-Salley, leadership and organizational development look forward to meeting you and beginning the journey together.
