Have a research idea you would like to pitch to a captive audience? Then join us at Research Pitching Day, an event co-hosted with Simon Fraser University, on November 3.

This innovative half-day event provides staff with an opportunity to pitch their research idea and search for a collaborative partnership they are looking for.

Who should attend

A decision maker, practitioner in a clinical setting, health care manager, or front line staff who would like to work with an academic researcher.

How to apply

We are looking for individuals wishing to initiate a collaboration and briefly pitch their research idea to the audience. We will provide you with guidance on how to make a good pitch and will facilitate networking opportunities during and after the event.

To apply to be a pitcher, email Camille Viray with your proposed pitch (very brief summary), which the planning committee will then review. Please include your name, department or faculty.

Deadline to apply as a pitcher is September 29, 2017.
