Join us for the Women’s Day conference stream at the Patient Experience Conference on November 8. More than a dozen speakers will share their forward-thinking perspectives on patient and family centred-care for women.

A few highlights of the day:

Dr. Charissa Patricelli, Fraser Health, will explore the prevalence and challenges of intimate partner violence to help health care providers gain the skills and confidence to support patients confronting these challenges.

Heather McPherson, Executive Vice President, Patient Care and Ambulatory Innovation, Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, will share Voices of 1000 Women from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds as they express their expectations of the health care system.

Innovative approaches to health care education also presents sessions on a new SmartMom text message program for expectant parents, the Gum for Mum infant fall prevention strategy for fatigued new parents, and My Next Birth after Caesarean Section online interactive tool for women.

Attend these sessions and more!
