Promoting health equity is a core part of our work at Fraser Health and it is at the heart of the diversity competent and culturally safe care we provide every day.

Health equity exists when all people (individuals, groups and communities) have a fair chance to reach their full health potential and no one is disadvantaged from achieving it because of their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, social class or other socially determined circumstance.
